Prolific offenders arrested and prosecuted

As part of a national week of action to tackle shop lifting, Clifton neighbourhood policing team arrested and prosecuted several prolific offenders, two of which have been given lengthy custodial sentences.

Robert COOPER of Dirac Close, Clifton was sentenced to 32 weeks for multiple thefts and CBO breaches 

Martin GREGG of Coleridge Street, Radford sentenced to 20 weeks in custody for multiple thefts 

Joe FOSTER of Farnborough Road, Clifton and charged to court. 

It is hoped that appropriate intervention and rehabilitation will take place in custody to prevent further reoffending on their release.
